How we started
The initial idea for “Big Arted” came about many years ago following a bad experience involving a photo studio and the excessive price tag of £640 for a single photo which we later wanted on a canvas .....this put the price of this photo and canvas at over £850.
We felt that we could do better and that children and family pictures should not be a once in a lifetime event due to cost. Our walls should be full of pictures of our kids as they grow over the years.....from that and following numerous training courses and one very large learning curve the concept of “Big Arted” was born.
Since then this concept has evolved into a full time operation which focuses on taking your images old or new, photographs or digital files and reproducing them in a range of fashionable styles such as a “gallery box canvas” or “off the wall” frames.

We can take care of everything from scanning, photo restoration, editing, enlarging, printing, framing, mounting and delivery, we also offer an array of fun styles that we can add to your images such as turning your photo into a “Warhol” popart print or a pencil sketch.
